Alma was married to Jim Sedgewick and she got the cafe he owned in the divorce. The cafe was on Rosamund Street and was called Jim's until Roy Cropper bought Alma's majority share from her and named it Roys Rolls.

2. Bill Webster's second wife was a relative of one of the former residents of Coronation Street. Who was she and who was her relative?
Bill fell for Elaine Pryor who was the niece of pensioner Percy Sugden.

Hilda was interviewed about the sale by a radio reporter and lost her place in line.

Eddie brought home a plastic cover for the television screen that was tinted blue at the top and green at the bottom. Hilda was not best pleased at always having to take second best.

The baby's original name was Thomas before Fred died.

4. Kirk wrote Fiz a poem to woo her back after a split but he actually used lyrics from an old song. What was it?

It was Everything I Own by Bread.

Norris thought the card was from Sally but it was actually from Sophie who sent it as a joke. She'd got Sally to write it and when Sally paid her paper bill with a cheque, Norris recognized the hand writing.

Des lost his job because his boss, Sean Skinner, witnessed his ejection. Sam was dating Sean at the time.

That was 1983 though Elsie left in very early 1984 which was also famous for the year Stan Ogden died.

Jack was the coach of a ladies' lawn bowling team but one of the gals did herself an injury so Jack dressed up as Ida Fagg to join the team in their hour of need. He was outed, however it was also discovered that one of the members of the opposing team did the very same thing!

2. What was the event that was happening on the day that Jack Duckworth was introduced to Coronation Street?

Jack was first introduced by Vera to her neighbours at Gail and Brian Tilsley's wedding in November 1978.
