Eva's convinced Nick's been taking her for a fool but is determined to get more evidence before confronting him. David's working hard to fix things with Kylie but when she tenderly thanks Nick for bringing them back together, Eva spots the exchange and becomes suspicious. When she then checks Nick's phone messages she's horrified to find a text from Kylie thanking him for last night.

A nervous Tommy packs the drugs into the car and is disgusted by what he's doing. When Tina approaches he jumps out of his skin. Will Tina realise what he's up to?

Sunita's booked a room at an expensive hotel and she and Karl make the most of it. But when Stella calls Karl, they're brought back down to earth and return to the street. At the pub, Stella's counselling a glum Dev, suggesting he take more of an interest in Sunita's life aside from her being a mother. Agreeing, Dev decides to invite Sunita's friends Stella and Karl for dinner.

Maria heads out on her date with the hot client from the salon - Tim. Will Julie be able to convince Eileen to stay on the street?

Nick finally convinces Kylie to come back and speak to David. Collecting Max. he drops them round the corner, promising that last night will remain a secret. Kylie's grateful. At the Platts', David's ecstatic to find Kylie and Max on the doorstep, apologising for turning on her. Kylie's sorry too as she tells David she walked out because he hurt her and has been staying with friends while working in a bar. At the Bistro Nick acts surprised to see Kylie before offering her a job at a big civic dinner he has on Monday. Will Kylie accept and agree to stay? Meanwhile, Eva now suspects Nick of cheating and when she finds last night's hotel bill she's convinced. Calling the hotel, will Eva put 2 and 2 together and come up with 5?

With Tommy back at the garage, Rick comes calling, explaining an associate will drop off a car tonight, his job is to put drugs behind the door panels. Tommy's horrified as Rick hands him a holdall packed full of drugs. Will Tommy agree to do the job for Rick?

Eileen reveals her plans to move away for a fresh start. Sean's gutted. Stressed out, he has a run-in with Stella at work over his lack of hot pot making. With too much on his plate, will Sean walk out of the Rovers and take the recipe with him? Sunita lies to Dev that she's meeting a friend as she heads out on a secret date with Karl.

After another row with Eva about her moving in, Nick heads out for a night on the town. Taking David with him, the pair let off steam about their complicated love lives. Laddish, they head to a lap dancing bar but when Nick sees a scantily clad Kylie on the stage he ushers David out, claiming he feels uncomfortable.

Dropping David home, Nick heads back to the club where he confronts Kylie. Their discussion is heated and when Kylie ends up getting sacked Nick insists on taking her back to a hotel to sort herself out. As Nick tries to convince Kylie to come home, she rants that everyone hates her and it's her and Max against the world. Will Nick be able to talk her round? Meanwhile, Eva phones Nick from outside his flat but when Nick lies and says he's in bed?

Sean and Marcus question Eileen's decision to send Paul away while she continues to pack his belongings, still wracked with guilt. When Paul arrives to collect his bags, Marcus tires to talk sense into him. Is it really over between Eileen and Paul?

A good looking customer at the salon asks Maria out on a date. Tommy forced to lie to Tina when Rick makes contact. Norris tries to charm Audrey...will she realise she's being bribed?

Paul's still struggling to understand how Eileen could have left Lesley alone and with all the gossip, Eileen's a wreck. Angry that it's come to this, Jason goes after Paul, blaming him for what his mum is going through. As the row becomes heated, Paul breaks down and agrees he needs to talk to Eileen. He admits he can't cope with the gossip and the reminders of Lesley everywhere. Eileen suggests Paul leaves.

David's doing surprisingly well working at the Bistro but when he's faced with Sylvia's constant complaints, David loses it. Will Nick sack him? Meanwhile, Eva wants more from her relationship with Nick but is he ready to take things to the next level?

Tommy begs Tyrone and Kevin to give him his job back at the garage. Sunita bails Karl out when he admits he's gambled away his taxi takings. He thanks her for her support but Sunita suggests he needs professional help. Norris is aghast when Audrey reveals she's been chosen to sit on the judging panel of the Weatherfield in Bloom competition.

As the factory staff gossip about Lesley's mysterious death, Eileen struggles to control her emotions. Back at home the police come calling, asking questions about the days prior to Lesley's demise. Insisting they've got nothing to hide Paul is open about Lesley's illness and admits he visited a solicitor about divorcing her. As the questioning continues Eileen is convinced everyone thinks she's responsible for Lesley's death.

Ashamed of his Dad, Tommy can't bring himself to admit the truth to Tyrone and Tina and lies that at least Rick is now off their backs. But when Rick comes calling, insisting Terry's debt is now his, Tommy's horrified - with no money left what can he do? Tommy's confused when Rick tells him to get his job back at the garage then await further instructions.

Nick points out that David's devastated without Kylie and insists they need to find her. Gail thinks he's better off without Kylie and needs something to take his mind off her. She asks Audrey to give him his job back. Will Audrey agree or has Nick got a plan of his own?

When Karl has a drop off at the casino, will he be tempted? Sally enlists some professional help with her blooms much to Norris' annoyance.


Paul presses Eileen for an answer to his proposal but she's in turmoil. Him divorcing his sick wife just doesn't sit right. Begging her to give it some thought, Paul heads out to speak to a solicitor. In the house, Eileen is caring for Lesley but when she becomes aggressive then hits out at Eileen repeatedly, Eileen's forced to flee the house. Taking time to compose herself, Eileen then heads back inside but when she finds a lifeless Lesley lying on the floor, a distraught Eileen calls 999.

Terry's on edge. Knowing Tina could wake up any time and reveal the truth, he urges Tommy to get the money off Tyrone quickly before Rick comes for them. After Tyrone hands over the cash Terry packs his bags. Tommy then gets a call from the hospital telling him that Tina's regaining consciousness, he races to her bedside. Will Terry get his hands on the money before Tina reveals the horrible truth about Tommy's dad?

Sunita arranges to meet Karl at the flat but when Stella asks her to work late, she's forced to stand Karl up. Feeling sorry for himself, David continues to drown his sorrows.

8.30pm: As the paramedics confirm that Lesley is dead, Paul races back to the street to hear the worst. An emotional Eileen is overcome with sorrow and guilt as Paul breaks down. Eileen's friends rally round while Paul goes to the mortuary. Back at the house, Paul consoles Eileen but, unable to accept his warmth, she confesses that she'd had a fight with Lesley and had left her alone. How will Paul react?

Tommy races back to the flat, just in time to see Terry about to leave. Confronting his dad, he demands answers. Terry tries to worm his way out of it but the scales have fallen from Tommy's eyes. Thrusting the cash into his hand, it's Tommy's final test to see if Terry can do the right thing. Will Terry pocket the cash and leave the street or will he do right by his son? Meanwhile, Rick's back on the scene and he wants his money.

Nick takes a drunken David home. He becomes morose, admitting he loves Kylie so much it hurts. Nick's concerned that David's an emotional wreck. Sunita and Karl struggle to keep their hands off each other at work. But when they smooch in the back room, Stella walks in. Have they been caught in the act?


As Tina lies motionless where she fell, in a pool of blood. A panicked Terry rushes out but bumps into Tommy. Thinking on his feet, Terry insists he found her like this, Rick did it then phoned him to say he'd be next. At the hospital, Tommy's heartbroken as the doctors reveal they've sedated Tina till the swelling on her brain goes down - the next 24 hours will be crucial. Tommy wants to go to the police but Terry insists they've got to give Rick what he wants and they should ask Tyrone for money. Desperate, Tommy tells Tyrone what's happened to Tina and reveals he needs a massive favour, Jack left thousands to Tyrone and he needs a loan to save his skin. Aware this is all down to Terry, will Tyrone agree?

Fed up with all the gossip, Paul suggests to Eileen that they move away. Stunned, Eileen insists it will never work as he can't let go of Lesley and will never be truly focussed on her. Suggesting he and Lesley move back home, Eileen reveals she can't go on like this. Desperate to prove he loves her, Paul makes a shock decision which leaves Eileen reeling.

Sunita lets Karl into the flat and they quickly head for the bedroom. But when they make their staggered return to the Rovers will the guilt kick in? Kirsty makes an effort with the factory staff but will they give her a second chance?

Tina can't believe Tommy's going ahead with Terry's plan but Tommy argues they have no choice. Terry heads to the Rovers to create his alibi and tells Tommy he'll leave a gas heater in the bar, all he has to do is switch it on and help it set fire to the curtains. But as Terry makes a show of himself in the pub, Tina rushes out.

Finding Tommy about to start the fire, she begs him not to do this, she knows where this kind of harebrained scheme can lead and she can't face losing another person she loves. How will Tommy react when she insists that if he does this, it's over between them? And what will Terry do when he finds Tina interfering with his plan?

Eileen and Paul are stunned when a police officer arrives at the house, they've had an emergency call to report them for hurting Lesley. Lesley tells the officer they're keeping her captive so Paul is forced to explain that Lesley has Alzheimer's and gets confused. Will the officer accept their explanation? Meanwhile, Paul's hackles rise when he hears Norris gossiping about his tussle with Lesley

When Dev moots the idea of selling the corner shop flat, Sunita urges him not to do anything hasty, noting this could make the perfect love nest for her and Karl!

Kirsty quickly alienates all the Underworld staff but when she opens up to Fiz about her abrasive nature, we learn a lot more about Kirsty's past and what makes her tick. Will her honesty find Kirsty an ally in Fiz?

Tina's horrified to discover that Terry and Tommy are in debt to Rick. As they walk in, Rick casually repeats his demands for more cash by the end of the week, pointing out that when it comes to Tina, next time he might not be so friendly.

Tina's shaken as she rails at Tommy for lying to her abut Terry's debts. When she reveals it was Rick who pushed her dad to his death and now he's led to wolf right back to their door, Tommy's mortified. Gleaning that Rick won't leave them alone till he's got his money, Tommy asks Terry what he proposes to do next. But when Terry reveals his plan to get Rick off their backs, both Tommy and Tina are aghast. Will they agree to his crazy scam?

Lesley's wrist has been damaged but when Paul has a falling out with the care home manager about how Lesley came to wander off, he ends up removing her from the home. Is this the end of Eileen and Paul's holiday?

When Karl turns up Sunita's, admitting he needs her because she's the only one who understands him, Sunita is flattered. Unable to resist temptation, they fall into a passionate clinch. When Sunita wonders if this is another 'one-off' what will Karl say?

A drunk David tries to give a horrified Eva the come-on. Kirsty gets the girls backs up before she even starts work at the factory.

7.30pm: Tyrone has had a restless night as he tries to get his head round what Kirsty has done. As she profusely apologises, will Tyrone be able to forgive and forget?

Meanwhile, Tina is excited as she and Tommy prepare for their meeting with the bank about a mortgage for Jason's flat. However, Tommy has promised the money to Terry. When Tommy finds his dad face-to-face with a loan shark, he hands over the cash. Terry is flooded with relief and promises never to let his son down. But as Tommy goes to break the news to Tina, what will Terry's next move be?

Elsewhere, Brian has convinced Julie that she needs treatment. As they arrive at the hospital, Julie tries to put on a brave face. What does this mean for her future as a mum?

Also today, Faye takes advantage of Mary's trust, gossip spreads about Sally and Kevin, David is gutted as there's still no news from Kylie and Max, while Audrey returns to work at the salon.

8.30pm: Tina is horrified to hear that Tommy has given his money to his dad and turns on Terry, accusing him of conning him out of his inheritance. Tommy insists it's just a loan, and Terry promises that it will be paid back as soon as his cash flow problems are sorted. But as Terry plays the doting dad, is it all an act?

Elsewhere, adversity bonds Brian and Julie together. They're strong for each other, but inside Julie and Brian's hearts break.

Norris is taking the Weatherfield in Bloom competition far too seriously and blames Gail when one of his hanging baskets goes missing, while Hayley notices how down David is and offers to contact Becky to see if she has any idea where Kylie is.

Kirsty is smug about seeing off Terry's club, but she is later called to a meeting and is suspended for her illegal search of the Town Hall. Kirsty is devastated - this is the end of her police career. Tyrone tries to reassure her, but as Tommy insists she's got her comeuppance, she storms off. Back at the house, Kirsty turns on Tyrone, accusing him of not backing her up against Tommy and pushing her into taking action against the club.

Trying to make it up to Kirsty, Tyrone reveals that he's spoken to Carla, who's offered to give her a job packing at the factory. However, raging at Tyrone, Kirsty insists that policing was her life. Tyrone apologises, but when he suggests she's over-reacting, Kirsty's anger boils over and she viciously lashes out by hitting him hard with a kitchen utensil. Tyrone is stunned by her actions.

Meanwhile, Kevin asks Pam if she'll consider having Jack on a semi-permanent basis as Sally isn't prepared to play mother to him. Pam is appalled by Kevin's selfishness, but agrees she'll always be there for baby Jack. Can Kevin really give up his son for Sally?

Elsewhere, Tommy offers to bail Terry out with his inheritance money when the loan sharks come calling, Julie is floored as Doctor Matt gives her the test results, while the residents work on their entries for the Weatherfield in Bloom contest - with Norris keen to outdo his neighbours.

Convinced that Terry paid Councillor Peake off to approve his lap-dancing club, Kirsty uses her position to get a copy of Peake's bank statements, which show large payments from TD Enterprises. Returning to the Town Hall, Kirsty arrests Councillor Peake on suspicion of taking a bribe. Meanwhile, a financially strapped Terry has enlisted Tommy's help in the building work. With the club now nearly ready to open he's confident nothing can go wrong. But as the father-and-son team drink in the Rovers, they're brought up short by a voice from the door, it's Kirsty, who insists they might have spoken too soon. How will Tommy react to the news of Terry's dodgy dealings?

Sally and Kevin hold crisis talks at the Bistro. Sally's adamant that she'll never be able to accept Jack. But when Kevin suggests he could ask Pam and Bill to have Jack on a semi-permanent basis, Sally's aghast. She refuses to ask Kevin to give up his son but Kevin's convinced he's hit on a solution and vows to speak to Pam.

As the sonographer brings a consultant radiologist into the room to monitor the scan, an anxious Julie fears the worst. Is there something wrong with her baby? When Dev tells Sunita he entered Aadi into a golf tournament which involves an overnight stay, she's quick to suggest to Karl that he keeps her company.


Convinced Terry's greased some palms to get his bar sorted, Kirsty and Tyrone head to the Town Hall. Flashing her police badge, Kirsty talks their way in as they look for the planning and licensing office. Once inside, she and Tyrone search for evidence of any illicit dealings but as they rifle through documents, they're caught in the act - by the arrival of Councillor Peake and Terry! Is this the evidence they need?

Kevin refuses to give up on them and pleads with Sally to reconsider. Sally's torn but insists the relationship will never work because she can't accept Jack as her own. With his childminder off ill, Kevin's a desperate man and calls Pam, asking her to take Jack for the day. When Pam offers to have him overnight, Kevin tells Sally he's taking her out. Can Kevin talk Sally round?

Julie's nervous as she heads to the hospital for her 12 week scan. But with Brian by her side, they wait excitedly to see their baby. Karl's forced to lie to Stella about where his new car radio came from. Mary helps Anna out with Faye so she can do extra shifts at the shop.

When Pam calls round, she's shocked to see Jack is now living with Sally and Kevin and accuses them of pushing the baby from pillar to post. Her words hitting home, Sally admits to Kevin she will never be able to love Jack and be a mother to him as he's a constant reminder of Kevin's betrayal. Sally's insistent their relationship will never work but Kevin refuses to give up. Will Sally reconsider or is this the end for the Websters?

Kirsty and the protesters are shocked when a DCI arrives at the club threatening to arrest them. Realising the game is up, they reluctantly file out while the DCI tears a strip off Kirsty for getting involved. Back at home Kirsty admits this stinks, convinced of some corruption. But already on thin ice with her job, will she agree to keep digging?

David is back at home having failed to convince Kylie to come back. When she bursts in for a moment, his hopes are raised but Kylie's quick to point out that she's just come back for a few things and then she's going. As she drags Max from his bed, David pleads with her not to do this. As Max begins to cry, will Kylie back down?

Dev offers Anna some night shifts at the shop as she struggles to make ends meet. Karl is thrilled when Sunita hands him a car radio for his birthday.

Sally and Kevin are getting on well and Sophie's hopeful of a reconciliation between her parents. But when Kevin gets a call from his childminder who's ill and Sally is left holding the baby, she feels uneasy. After spending the day with Jack, she admits to Carla that she's in a mess, she's fallen back in love with Kevin but she's not sure she can ever accept baby Jack and be a mother to him. Will Sally soften when Jack cries?

Kylie hasn't come home all night. David gets Max ready for school and hides his worry. At the Bistro, a drunk Kylie and a group of hangers on demand service. Struggling to control Kylie, Nick calls David. After he berates her for her reckless behaviour, will Kylie agree to return home?

Karl's gutted to find Stella has forgotten his birthday. Irked, he heads out to work, revealing his disappointment to Sunita. But when Stella arrives with a present, a car wash kit, will his mood change?

Terry calls a friend at the council in a bid to get the protesters removed from his club. Anna's stressed as she struggles for money.

David is upset because his family refuse to accept his apology. Concentrating their efforts on Audrey, Gail's relieved to hear it was a minor heart attack and Audrey can go home to rest.

Back at the Platts', Gail suggests Audrey and Lewis stay with her until Audrey's stronger. David fusses round his gran, telling her he's put the salon back to the way it was, but she blanks him. Kylie tries to justify their actions but David lets rip at her, claiming she's to blame for Audrey's heart attack as she kept pushing him to fight for the salon. He implies she's only interested in what she can get out of him, how will Kylie react?

Kevin spent the night at Sally's but he's cautious not to rush things. However when the factory girls spot him on the doorstep, the cat's out of the bag. When gossip starts, can Sally handle it? Kevin offers a dinner date so they can talk but is a reconciliation what Sally really wants?

The residents continue their sit-in protest at the bar and a seething Terry calls in the police. But Tyrone calls Kirsty, who declares it's a peaceful protest and no law is being broken. But Terry has another plan...

Sean can't get the hotpot right after destroying Betty's recipe. Despairing, he delivers a batch of hotpot to the pub. Will Betty's legacy continue when the Rovers regulars tuck in?

David's terrified, blaming himself, as Audrey is rushed to hospital with a suspected heart attack. The doctor confirms it and as Gail and Lewis are told the next 48 hours are crucial, they're united in their fear. Arriving at the hospital, an emotional David apologises for everything he's done. Coming round, how will a frail Audrey react to his apology?

As opposition to Terry's lap-dancing club hardens, Tommy comes under fire. Taking the bull by the horns, Kirsty reckons she smells a rat at the council and they should take action. Terry is livid as a sit-in protest begins!

Kevin continues to support Sally and she admits she appreciates everything he's done for her recently. Over a bottle of wine, he reminds Sally he'll always be there for her. Sally's touched but will a kiss lead to more?

Relations are frosty between Stella and Karl. Sean's under pressure as he tries to recreate Betty's hotpot. Losing concentration, he drops the recipe into the mixture and the ink runs. Has Betty's recipe been lost forever? A huge row erupts when Peter discovers that Carla knew about Leanne seeing Simon.

David and Kylie are incredulous as Audrey hands them the injunction she's just had granted in court. She's now legally in control. David's horrified to hear Audrey's accused him of forcing her into signing the salon over but Audrey is unrepentant - she'll see him in court!

Insisting the injunction is based on a lie, Kylie urges David to continue with their plans to revamp the salon but when Audrey takes a stand, a bitter battle of words erupts between the family. Suddenly feeling unwell, Audrey falls to the floor.

Tommy starts work for Terry and is given flyers to hand out for '7th Heaven'. Terry will pay him when the bar is open and the money's rolling in. Tommy's agrees, warming to his dad. But when a lap-dancer turns up in the Rovers to do an audition for Terry, Tommy's stunned to realise he's working for a lap-dancing club. Terry's plans are met with outcry from the residents. Will Tommy change his mind about his dad?

Carla meets Frank's solicitor and is stunned to discover there is no new owner of the factory. Who did Frank leave his share to?

The Rovers is out of Betty's hotpot meaning it's time for Sean to try out the recipe. Peter's furious when he sees Leanne leaving the Barlows' with Simon. Dragging a tearful Simon away, he bans Leanne and Ken from seeing him again.

Tyrone is feeling guilty after his row with Tommy, but Kirsty lays all the blame at Tina's door. At the same time, Terry is the picture of the concerned dad, checking that Tommy is okay and insisting that he was doing the right thing by Tina. When Tommy asks if he meant what he said about wanting a relationship, Terry confirms that he does - while dripping poison into Tommy's ear about Tyrone.

Wearing Tommy down, Terry offers him a solution to his problem with Tyrone - why doesn't he come and work for him instead? Will Tommy put his trust in his dad?

Meanwhile, as the mourners arrive at the pub for Betty's wake, Gordon is touched to see how loved his mum was. Asking for a word with Stella, he reveals that he's come to a decision about Betty's claim on the pub. Later, as the wake is winding down, Gordon hands Sean a sealed envelope addressed to him from Betty. Sean's stunned as he reads its contents - it's Betty's hotpot recipe!

Elsewhere, Sunita and Karl start a new chapter, Audrey enlists a solicitor's help in getting her salon back, claiming that David bullied her into putting it in his name and is now conning her out of her business, Carla fears she's created a monster in Sally, while Peter worries when he gets a date for the custody hearing

When Terry witnesses the tension between Tommy, Tina, Tyrone and Kirsty, he realises that he can use it to his advantage. After hearing Kirsty having a go at Tina over Tommy's badly-parked camper van, he damages the two vehicles to make it look like there's been a bump.

As Tina blames Kirsty for pulling another stunt and the boys back their girlfriends, tempers flare again between the four. Is Terry's plan working perfectly?

Meanwhile, it's the day of Betty's funeral, and Rita and Emily have decided that it's their moral obligation to inform Gordon of Annie Walker's letter. Stella understands, but fears what this may mean. Gordon himself is stunned, but as Betty's funeral cortege departs, silence descends on the street.

Elsewhere, Stella apologises to Sunita for having a go at her about letting Karl behind the bar, while Sally barges in on Carla's meeting with a potential new client, determined to play partner despite not having bought Frank's shares yet.

Having heard all the stories about Terry, Owen wants part payment for his work on the bar upfront. Under pressure, Terry is forced to agree, but it's clear that money is tight.

At the same time, Tommy is planning a round-the-world trip with Tina to get away from his Dad, but when Terry hears about Tommy's inheritance, he has an idea. Arriving at the flat, he puts on a show of contrition. How will Tommy react to Terry's sudden U-turn?

Meanwhile, as Stella, Emily and Rita help Gordon sort through Betty's belongings, they find a letter from Annie Walker, bequeathing The Rovers to Betty in 1984, before her son Billy took over insisting Annie wanted him to run the pub. Stella panics - does this mean her purchase of the pub was invalid? She begs Rita and Emily not to tell Gordon.

Elsewhere, Stella lays into Karl for ignoring her orders not to go near the till, but he feels patronised and confides in Sunita, while Carla struggles to manage Sally's expectations at the factory, but knows that she needs to keep her on side if she's going to invest.

Tommy and Terry are reeling, but as Tommy holds out his hand to apologise, Terry refuses to take it and drives off. In the pub, Tommy is struggling to get his head round what's happened, and it becomes clear that Geoff and Doreen never really told Tommy what Terry is like. As the regulars insist that Terry is bad news, Tommy gets angry, forcing Tyrone to tell him the awful truth - that his dad sold him as a baby to the Hortons.

Seeing Tommy's distress, Tina seeks Terry out and demands answers. However, Terry confirms her worst fears - admitting that he never wanted a son and he still doesn't now. What will Tina tell Tommy?

Meanwhile, as the residents offer their condolences to Gordon, they're dismayed to hear that he intends to have her buried in London. But as an impromptu memorial starts in the pub, Gordon realises what an institution his mum was and resolves to rearrange the funeral in Weatherfield.

Elsewhere, Peter is kept in the dark by Leanne and Carla, David's timing is bad as he has the police threaten Audrey with harassment just after she's learnt of Betty's death, while Karl feels emasculated by Stella, who won't let him behind the bar despite how busy they are with Betty's 'memorial'.


Nick is annoyed to see a sign outside the unit next to the Bistro announcing a 'new bar'. When he then sees Owen struggling to get Tommy's clapped-out camper van moved from outside so that he can have a skip delivered, Nick quizzes him about who he's working for. Revealing the company is TD Enterprises, Owen returns to the task of getting the van moved.

With Tommy nowhere to be found, a tow truck arrives and starts to lift the VW. Arriving back, Tommy's aghast and berates the boss. He's quick to rise to the bait and a fight ensues. As Tommy brawls in the street, Tyrone rushes over to pull the men apart. Only then does he realise just who Tommy's scrapping with - it's Terry Duckworth, Tommy's dad!

Meanwhile, Rita is looking forward to visiting Betty this afternoon as Gordon is here. But when a grim-faced Gordon comes into the pub, everyone is shattered as he reveals that Betty passed away during the night. Everyone is deeply saddened as the Rovers regulars realise this marks the end of an era.

Elsewhere, Audrey receives a caution at the police station, David and Kylie begin their revamp of the salon but their customers prefer Audrey's motor home business, Carla realises that Ken is letting Leanne see Simon behind Peter's back, but Leanne begs her to see this is in Simon's interests, while Karl and Sunita vow to put the past behind them.

Audrey's furious and refuses to relinquish control of the salon. David's conviction is starting to waver when he sees how upset his Gran is but Kylie reminds him Audrey didn't have any qualms about sacking him. Audrey resents how David's turned on her after everything she's done for him and, with the backing of her friends, she vows that he won't take her business. Marching into the salon, she rails at David for betraying her and takes a nail file to his new sign. As the red mist descends, Kylie calls 999 reporting Audrey for criminal damage. But when the police arrive, will the law be on David's side?

It's time for Ken to take Simon home and as Leanne reluctantly says goodbye to Simon Ken's heart breaks for them both. At the flat, he tries one last attempt to change Peter's mind about Leanne but Peter's unyielding, insisting he needs Ken's support. Having asked Simon to lie to his dad about what they've been doing, Ken feels guilty. Can he continue to betray his son?

Sunita decides to give up her job at the pub in a bid to stay away from Karl. But when Dev sticks his two pennies' worth in, will she change her mind?

Tina worries that Tommy is frittering his inheritance away and suggests he start thinking about their future. Hoping this means they have a future together, Tommy resolves to think about it.

David and Kylie have spent the night camped out in the salon as Owen arrives to change the locks. Audrey's furious but David's defiant, insisting he's doing this for her own good. Audrey refuses to take it lying down and asks Mary for a favour. Using Mary's motor home as a makeshift salon, she pulls up outside and starts inviting her customers in. David and Kylie are aghast as the regulars flock to Audrey and they're left with an empty salon. Insisting they need to find their own customers, Kylie tells David it's time the salon had a revamp. They put up an 'Under New Management' sign... how will Audrey react?

When a devastated Leanne asks Ken to talk to Peter about her ban from seeing Simon, he can see how distraught she is. Ken broaches the subject with Peter but he's adamant he's doing the right thing by Simon in the long run. However, when Ken brings Simon home from school he can see how cut up Simon is and he finds himself calling Leanne and inviting her round.

When Nick notes the unit next door to the Bistro is for sale, he talks expansion plans with Eva. Stella picks up on the tension between Karl and Sunita and asks Sunita if there's anything Karl's not telling her. Sunita feels guilty when Stella admits she couldn't cope if she found out he was still lying.

Tommy's got a romantic country pub lunch planned for Tina but when his van only makes it to Viaduct Street, Tyrone can't help laughing.
