Coronation Street's Alan Halsall expecting first child

Corrie actor Alan Halsall, who plays luckless grease monkey Tyrone Dobbs, has announced that he and his wife Lucy-Jo Hudson (who he met when she too worked on the street) are expecting their first child.

Alan took to Twitter to announce the news, saying: "My wife @LucyJo_Hudson & I are very excited to announce that we are expecting our 1st child. Xx We are both over the moon! Xxx"
