Coronation Street's Shobna Gulati reveals Sunita will go on drunken spree

Corrie's Shobna Gulati has been talking on ITV's This Morning about her character Sunita Alahan's latest escapades and teased an upcoming drunken night.

Sunita has been having an affair with Karl Munro (John Mitchie) and though they have cooled it of late it seems they will be all back on next week and their relationship will be revealed to all.

Speaking about the storyline, Shobna said: "She's had kids and she's with a man who doesn't really care. Then she finds a man who really wants her. She does feel rejected by Karl. [Dev]'s just smothered her again. So it's all very complicated for her, and she just feels like, 'I need something. I need to go out'. She takes an option - the maddest and biggest option of Sunita's live. I thought, 'Wow!' She was very drunk at the time."

Looks like Sunita may be reeling down the street in the very near future.
