Stape has got to be the most annoying character in the soap at the moment. The whole storyline about him moving back to coronation street after the kidnap wasn't very realistic and now he has managed to con his way back into teaching with his criminal past.
It would take someone far smarter than him to get away with all of this.

agreed. this is total b******s and deeply boring with it. in fact, corrie is becoming a big bore all round. what we want is more of norris, rita, roy and hayley and a good deal less of the cringe making yoof (chesneh is an exception to this). come on corrie, get back to what you do best!
I'm studying education and I find the John character and his storylines insulting and demeaning to the profession of teaching.
I have watched Corrie for 40 plus years and I agree that it has to move with the times but it has become a joke IMO. The story lines are unbelievable and totally ridiculous. Corrie is such a bore now that if I miss I don't even care anymore. Never thought I would feel that way.
