It was delayed because of the Cumbrian shootings, but you can now see previews of the two endings of Gail's trial on ITV.com - one where she is found guilty, the other one where is found innocent.
It's a great idea to shoot the two endings and preview them online like this. But I kind of wondered whether they toyed with the idea of people voting for the outcome like they do on Britain's Got Talent and screening the one that people voted for.
I wouldn't be surprised, but think they probably decided it wasn't a good idea because people would overwhelmingly vote for her being sent down I suspect. And the idea that effectively an actor's future career is decided by an audience vote does seem a little mean, even if her character is a tad annoying.
Personally I hope justice does prevail, but we shall find out soon enough.
