Molly Dobbs latest to be axed from Coronation Street

New Corrie producer Phil Collinson, nick-named Phil Cull-inson, has axed another two characters from the Street, making a total of five in just two weeks.

Latest characters to be binned are Molly Dobbs and dustman Trevor Dean. Vicky Binns, who plays Molly, will leave Weatherfield later this year after the love triangle involving her character, hubby Tyrone Dobbs and Kevin Webster takes a dramatic twist.

And Trevor (Steve Jackson), who has been having an affair with factory boss Carla Connor (Alison King), has been given the heave-ho after bosses decided not to renew his contract.

Natasha Blakeman (played by Rachel Leskovac) will commit suicide after her relationship with Nick Tilsley hits the rocks and her plans to take over Audrey Roberts' hair salon backfires. The character was axed by Phil Collinson a couple of weeks ago.
