Roy and Hayley Cropper are set to make Coronation Street history, as they will have the soap's first transsexual wedding.
The pair have previously had their relationship blessed before civil partnerships were legalised and Hayley changed her name to Cropper by deed poll.
But as they say the course of true love never runs smooth and while Roy wants a quiet low budget wedding, Hayley wants to push the boat out for a day to remember. Like any wise woman she bans him from their bed until he concedes!
An insider told The Sun: "Thankfully, Roy relents after Hayley puts the pressure on and it's a day for all the street's residents to celebrate."

Hayley is as beautiful and as passable as any transwomen could hope to be at her age. I'm glad transexual couples are able to wed legaly, and I hope one day the same will be true for all couples. The way God made them or otherwise. :)
