Sean is set for a reunion with son Dylan as part of Coronation Street's 50th anniversary plans. The knicker-stitcher's son was conceived when Sean, played by Antony Cotton, acted as a sperm donor for his friend Violet.
Violet left Sean devastated when she fled Weatherfield with Dylan and partner Jamie Baldwin played by Rupert Hill in 2008. But according to the Daily Star the gay machinist tracks her down via Facebook.
Antony recently said he had an "exciting" plot in the pipeline which was due to commence in the Spring.
