Leanne Battersby is to propose to recovering alcoholic Peter Barlow and the two are to get married in a December wedding, marking Corrie's 50th anniversary.
Leanne, played by Jane Danson, stuns the Rovers when she gets down on one knee to ask Peter to marry her, just days after accusing him of having an affair with Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) and chucking a drink over her supposed love rival.
According to the Daily Star she says: "I know I'm a nightmare and can be a stroppy cow at times, but Peter, will you do me the immense honour of marrying me?" Aah now romantic.
