Leanne refuses to forgive Peter for his drunken antics leading him to drink once more. Gail travels to the Lake District with Joe, unaware of her husband's plan, and Tina expresses her fears to David when Rick calls at the house again. Gail tries to talk Joe out of his scheme to fake his death, but he sets sail in the darkness regardless, leaving his wife heartbroken on the jetty. Peter turns up drunk at George and Eve's, demanding to see Simon, but while his family tries to think of ways to help, Ciaran encourages him to have a few more beers.. With friends like that....

Joes death, So how come the boat sail was out on a reach, then the scene was tidied up after joe slipped away under the water as the main sail was pulled in so tight there is no way it could have knocked him off!

Why didnt the sail just knock him unconscious? That would have been far more believable than all this faffing around with losing the dingy and trying to swim and then just giving up and falling like a dead weight, even though he had a hand injury. Why was he boozing and why take his mobile phone? Very disappointing after the big build up to this. Gail was acting as pathetic as usual.
