the only dramatic downside of peter going back on the sauce is that his miserable swine of a father will be able to cluck around shaking his head and mouthing self satisfied platitudes. but isn't it hilarious that lefty ken is played by an actor so far the the right that he is falling off the edge.
I find it a bit hard to believe that just because the ghastly Cieran is back (why did they bring this lame character back anyways?) he would suddenly start boozing again after all his determinatin after the Simon nearly getting killed road to Damacus moment. I also thought Leanne would have been a bit more sympathetic towards her alcoholic boyfriend rather than getting kaylined with her new friends Carla and Dierdre and expecting him to clear up after their rather strange boozy session. Ken knows Peter better than anyone and knew this was going to happen.
Cieran is nice eye candy, but I agree that it's lame that Peter falls off the wagon so easily. But he IS a bit boring lately now that he's not been drinking, so I guess they have to do something with the storyline.....Ken is annoying but he's right about Peter.....
