STV reports that John Stape is to return to teaching. Now I'm not sure how I would feel if someone found guilty of kidnapping a child got a teaching job even if she was the criminal's former lover! But this is Corrie after all and the victim was Rosie Webster who is fast becoming Corrie's superbitch.
Realising that he won't get a job in the school, Stape applies and gets a job at an adult education centre. But what will they do when they realise he was behind bars until a few months ago? No doubt it's a storyline that will run and run.

I do hope Joe is not allowed by script writers to submit a joint life first death assurance policy. That would be impossible even if he forges Dawn's signature,because for a sum assured of £500,000:
(a) Both would need medical examination for the insurance company to assess the risk. He cannot keep that from Dawn.(b)he has a past history of depression and mental instability and that may result in a no cover for suicide within a set period of time.
So, when will we see the sailing boat disappear, be found abandoned like the Marie Celeste, with no sign of Joe?

I think he might mean gail. however, I can't wait for wet joe to drown. he is a useless limp article who has never thought of telling the police he is being threatened by a pantomime baddie. such moronism is a capital offence and he must die!!
