Corrie's Kym Marsh - best known as the very sexy Michelle Connor - has scooped Celebrity Mum of the Year award, beating Katie Price (how on earth was she ever nominated?)
Apparently as she accepted the award, the former HearSay star confirmed she was getting back together with Hollyoaks' Jamie Lomas. The couple split last month after the pressure of coping with the death of their premature baby boy, Archie.
Marsh added: "It is a real honour to get this award. It is nice to know I have got a lot of support out there, it has been a really difficult year.
"I have been a single parent in the past and I have had struggles so hopefully people still think I have done the best by my children."
The star accepted the Bounty Celebrity Mum of the Year 2009 Award, voted for by the public, at the swanky Lowry Hotel in Manchester yesterday.

Mum of the year? Didn't she cheat on her husband (who is not the father of her 2 kids), then divorce him and move herself and her kids in with the new actor. Sadly, she lost her baby. (an unplanned pregnancy with a new boyfriend). (sorry, but it is likely the fact, just sayin') (and yes, a true tragedy about the baby) Then the new couple break up, and he moves out. Now they're back together again.
That, people, is not who I would say is Mother Of The Year! Not saying she's a bad person, just wondering if anyone else there might have fit the bill a bit more?
