Molly and Kevin's affair appears to be back on the cards and moving up a gear - with the romantic weekend away going ahead this time. However, it all looks set to end in yet more trouble for them - when Kevin's van breaks down in the hotel car park!
They end up arguing when Kevin can't fix it and help has to be called. Let's just hope Tyrone isn't the one who comes!

It's a stupid storyline that should never have been written. Doesn't help the characters or the Corrie.
As many people have commented before - this is stupid. Why can't there be ONE happy couple on CS? Is that the only type of storyline they can think of?
How many affairs have there been in the last couple of years? This is just as bad as when Ashley had his completely unbelievable affair. When the affair between Jamie and his mother happened, it almost made me stop watching the show. Mind you neither Sally or Kevin has had an affair in about a year so I can understand the dilemma. What else could they possibly write about?
Tune in next week when Betty is arrested for selling drugs in the Rovers. Apparently 'hot pot' was just the code.
I too hate the storyline about Molly and Kevin. Totally out of character for Molly. I said all along that I would stop watching if this happened. I also hate the story about Rosie and John Stape giving her all the money. How farfetched is that. Do the script writers think that people are that stupid. I for one have stopped watching what has now turned into a farce and a lot of my friends have stopped watching Corrie also. I can't be bothered anymore.
I think it's more likely to be Kev that's coming :-)
A farce is exactly what the programme has become over the past couple of years, and not only that but the number if regulars that are thoroughly unlikable is getting out of control. In the good ol' days (for me that would be the early 80s), all the regulars were either loveable, or at least likeable rogues... and that is what set The Street apart from EastEnders. Now even Chesney is becoming a complete brat, and the list of deeply unpleasant people or simply highly irritating characters gets bigger week by week.
And who on Earth passed the "Norris's long-lost brother comes to stay for 3 months (it seems far, far longer) and they don't get on" idea? It has hardly progressed at all as a storyline, and despite Emily reportedly falling for him just before he "departs", it's been a complete waste of time. It would have been so much better if Ramsey had turned out to be just as curmudgeonly as Norris, instead of one of the walking dead. A wasted opportunity IMHO.
Frankly, I think what the program needs now is a new producer, who can get the program back to a much more believable level, where the characters drive the plots and where they don't suddenly have a complete personality transplant just to serve yet another ludicrous plotline. Rant ends...
It doesn't fit the characters and is slightly unbelievable, very out of character for Molly, but we'll see where the story goes, there could be some twist, this is corrie!!
There's a poll to find Corrie's fav character on my blog: Coronation Street Corner. Everyone's welcome to vote! Nobody's done yet :(
This storyline is so contradictory.Last year Kevin was beating up John Snape an older man for going after Rosie. Now a few months later and Kevin is doing the same thing with a much younger Molly. So totally unbelievable and disheartening to see the writers sinking to Jerry Springer levels!I thought Corrie was better than this!
Christopher Howard, stop trying to ALWAYS defend the program; when its wrong, its wrong and this storyline is definitely wrong.
Molly is so far out of character she isn't recognizable and Kevin seems to have forgotten Tyrone exists. Not believable, badly written and actually, even though its just started sadly, boring.
What a horrible picture of Molly, she looks really aggressive. I used to like Molly but this ridiclous character change with the totally preposterous affair with her neighbour and husband of a few months' uncharasmatic and grumpy boss who is old enough to be her father has plummmeted new depths. I didnt think they could do a worse story line than the swapped at birth sons but this one is worse I think, I cant stand seeing Molly and Kevin's lingering looks, its making me feel sick. Shame on the writers.
Excuse me 'Sia' for having an opionion!! Corrie has its ups and downs - like any soap! We'll see what happens!! People do change or go off the boil from time to time as do fictional characters.
great storyline..molly should leave tyrone and be with kevin permanently.
Nice to see what everyone is making of Molly and Kevin, and unfortunately I think it's proved to be an unpopular storyline. For me, I do think the story in the way it has unfolded has been very out of character for what we expected of Molly. If it had been the other way round, with Kevin doing a lot of the chasing, perhaps we'd have taken better to it. I think the idea of Molly or Tyrone cheating on one another put many viewers off before it had even aired.
I for one enjoy the storyline. The storyline is going to be a slow burner so possibly there will be many twist and turns.
I think this storyline stinks. Molly and Kevin are like oil and water...next they will have Audrey and Jason running away with each other....Please give us some better storylines.
To be honest it's not even a matter of believabilty for me, i just genuinely feel sick seeing them flirt and kiss etc. It's gross!
I think this story line s great as it shows what does happen in true life. Women do fall in love with older guys as im sure the other way around. Its nice to see that people can relate to these kind of situations. Cant wait to see what happens next.
I just heard that Sally will enbark a steamy affair with Ben dad (the black dude at the party) while having a chat about white and black, they both kiss eachother, woah!! cause I love black and white relationships!! besides she never kiss another race before so it would be exciting!!
We have to remember corrie is a soap opera, it is not supposed to be believable. I am in Canada so I haven't seen the affair happen yet but I did think it was "sick" to say the least. But the again that is why I love Corrie! Sally deserves it anyway after all the cheating she has done on Kevin over the years.
Absolute farce this soap has become. We know with everyone in the street's story what will happen because the scriptwriters have just dried up and are using the melodramas that the early Australian soaps used to use when they were pretty naive about it. Weekly we've had to sit and watch Jo constantly grimacing, begging and behaiving like a wuss and it has just gone on endlessly and now that is also a farce and didn't we know it was going that way. Once again the jokers of the pack have a bad wedding day. The same dramas appear in each soap where there is a joker in the pack and we know what's coming. Emmerdale and Coronation Street have too many idiotic characters to take the programmes seriously now. If they want best soap awards they'll never get them whilst these bland and utterly stupid dramas keep rolling out with these pathetic characterisations never seen in real life or any good drama.
I'm loving the storyline I don't think it's as unbelievable as most are saying, affairs often occur where you least expect and lets face it Sally is a bore and Tyrone can be frustrating. Can't wait to see where it goes.
Hey guys can anyone tell me why I'm not receiving my corrieblog in my email anymore?? Help!
Stupid.
Correction, mark winfarrah-Molly should leave Tyrone and be with ME permanently!
What a sick show Coronation street has become!!!
I have watched it for more than 25 years.
But I will not watch it anymore.
And so are a lot of people I know.
The writers must be sick in the head.
To come up with such rubbish.

This storyline is thoroughly entertaining and believable.
Kevin and Molly are in unhappy marriages. I think that it is only natural for them to gravitate towards one another.
They share similar interests and beliefs and throw in attraction and it is a pretty wrapped up package.
As for Kevin looking like a father figure to Molly. That is ridiculous! At times, I think that Kevin looks/acts to be Molly's age.
I hope that Sally gets better and the Kevin/Molly saga can continue.
When is "little Amy" going to be killed off. That kid must be the worst actor on TV. Who is she related to? Does she have to be carried around because she can't speak and move at the same time?
I too am from Canada and have watched the show for over 25 years. I enjoyed most of the story lines in the "old" days because they didn't all revolve around sex. We are at the point where Ken is having it off with Martha...yuck! I find myself leaving the room now or not minding if I miss the show.....too bad.
