It's been a bad week for the Peacocks, and Friday's double bill saw events culminate in tragic circumstances. Ashley woke up on Peter Barlow's couch, having been banned from returning home the night before. When he headed home, Ashley found Claire had bolted the door and was ignoring him, intent on teaching him a lesson. Unfortunately, events took a turn for the worst when Claire mysteriously collapsed.
Lloyd was troubled as to Claire's absence from work. When he called round he saw an unconcious Claire slumped in a heap through the window, and managed to break in to help her. The ambulance arrived and she was taken to hospital. Ashley was devastated to discover at the hospital that Claire had been pregnant and lost the baby due to a blood clot on the lung. She was left facing potentially fatal surgery to remove the clot.
Elsewhere, Slug was back lurking around the Rovers - or more precisely Becky. After much leering and hinting, he declared his love for her. An understanding Becky said she was happy with Steve, but they could remain friends. Not long after leaving the Rovers, bent copper Hooch (who we remember from Becky's trial not so long back) drove up to Slug, and Slug told him he can get someone else to do his dirtywork. Looks like more trouble on the horizon for Becky!
Connie's secret was finally revealed - in the form of a five-bedroomed house complete with bar and billiard room! Jack was delighted, and Connie suggested they should spend more time at her house.
Also, Dev was umimpressed to discover Umed had been tampering with the Corner Shop's prices again; Norris was annoyed to discover the specialised shoes had been purchased by Ramsay, and promptly returned them; and a reluctant Molly jetted off for Tenerife with Tyrone, putting an end to her affair with Kevin - for now.
Give us your thoughts on the Friday dose of Corrie below!

Stephen Arnold was brilliant in those 2 episodes, great acting, the Peacocks always give us brilliant drama, also liked the Connie and Jack story, there well suited.
Disagree, the Peacocks are at the end of the road and should be written out. Clare is a truly awful character.
Can someone please tell me which episode it was exactly that Graeme offered tea after the revelation about Joe and Gail's relationship and the reaction of their two offspring? How recently ago was this??
Thanks!
