Corrieblog reader Tracyluv has been in touch, and had this to say about Rosie Webster's recent windfall - receiving £150,000 as 'compensation' from John Stape:
"We were hoping that John would rescind it and she would have to pay the money back but I suppose that's too much to hope for. I cannot believe his solicitor did not try and talk him out of this, as his mind is not balanced at present."

Surely it could have been so that there were terms as to what she could and couldn't spend the money on, like with a Will? I don't really know very much about legal matters but surely restrictions could have been made?
I understand why they've created this Rosie having money thing so she can buy a share in the factory but the whole Fiz/John thing accompanying it is absolutely dire and I wish we'd seen the back of John when he went to prison and Fiz got over it and met someone else.
Totally agree Scotchkiss, this story is driving me up the wall with Fizz’s wailing and Rosie’s gurning and posturing. I bet John’s poor old granny would be spinning in her grave knowing her hard worked for home was funding this brainless little tart’s frittering. . However, I hear a rumour; don’t know if it’s true, that Luke cons her out of most of it.
I hope he does con her out of it,although not sure how he will manage to do that. The other night in the Rovers when she said "I might be intersted in investing in the factory, but not today. Call me". How ridiculous! I'd like to have seen her say that to Tony and what his response would have been!
I am hoping that when Carla returns, she will remember that had Rosie not shown Tony the kiss between her and Liam, that Liam would have not been killed, as that was the trigger that started Tony off. Carla told Rosie what she thought at the time but of course she didn't know that Tony had killed Liam then. Now she does. I am hoping the writers don't forget this and make a decent tale of Carla making Rosie pay for what she did.
At the time I thought that was a good lesson for girls like Rosie everywhere when Tony threatened her in the hotel room, as in, you don't know who you're messing with sometimes.
I was thinking that Luke would end up running off with Rosie's money, too. Starts with the factory investment, he probably persuades her to invest more but takes it for himself and runs off.
I would love for Luke to take all her money. Silly little bint.

The thing that is really getting on my nerves is what Fiz does with her lips - I don't even know what you'd call it but I find it most annoying.
