Platts and McIntyres - all the secrets come tumbling out

09_03_david-gail-joe-tina.jpgNext week promises to be a great week on Corrie. Not only do we have Steve and Becky's wedding to look forward to, but there's going to be high drama in the Platt household, when David discovers Joe's deal with Len Windass.

For once, David feels like he has the moral high ground, but in the ensuing argument, all kinds of skeletons fall out of the Platt / McIntyre closet - Tina's abortion, for example. And the little matter of David pushing Gail down the stairs. And the fact that Joe only moved in with Gail because he'd been evicted from his home. And that Joe has previously suffered from depression.

Joe storms out and ends up back at the lock-up again. Will Gail be able to persuade him to come back? Will she want him to come back now she knows about his deal with Len? Will Joe want to come back to live under the same roof as David? And what will Tina do?

It might even be beyond the wisdom of Ted Paige to sort out.

The Platts are the number 1 family of soap for high drama - Gail is a great character brilliantley played by Helen Worth, and they have had so many great storys over the years and I think they will continue that method.

Poor Gail, things never run smoothly for her, but it's a great story at the moment.

I'm bored to tears of David Platt!
