Katherine Kelly named Top Soap Personality

Katherine Kelly (Coronation Street's Becky) deservedly won the Top Soap Personality award at the Television and Radio Industries Club awards. She picked up her prize looking a million miles away from her scruffy Weatherfield alter ego, in a sophisticated cream-coloured dress.

Although other Corrie stars such as Michelle Keegan (Tina) attended the event in central London, sadly Corrie failed to snag the best soap prize, which was won by That London-Based Soap.
