Corrie stars turn out to support Curly's new show

The Manchester opening night of We Will Rock You, which stars former Coronation Street favourite Kevin Kennedy (Curly), was a star-studded affair. Current Corrie cast members Tupele Dorgu (Kelly), Brooke Vincent (Sophie) and Jennie McAlpine (Fiz) were there, as were former Corrie stars Suranne Jones (Karen McDonald) and Denise Welch (Natalie Barnes). And there was another high-profile guest in the audience, too - Robbie Williams, who was there to support his friend Jonathan Wilkes, who is in the show. He made a low-key arrival in an enormous bus with "VIP" written on the side.

It was all very exciting for Brooke Vincent, who told the MEN: "I didn't realise it was going to be such a big event. Everyone's in the mood for dancing."
