Becky Grainger is spoiled for choice next week when she receives Valentine's Day proposals from both Jason Grimshaw and Steve McDonald. But who will she choose? Katherine Kelly is obviously sworn to secrecy, but she does give a few hints in an interview with the Mirror. It looks like, despite the fact that he cuts quite a dash in his naval uniform (it's hired - he hasn't really become an officer and a gentleman), Jason could well be the loser. "She's really trying to push her feelings for Steve away. But they're there, looming," says Katherine. "Her heart's not in it when it comes to Jason."
Katherine can see the appeal of Becky as far as Steve is concerned. "Steve has become very safe," she says. "He lives with his mum, he's got his daughter and he's running two businesses and I think Becky makes him feel a lot younger. They've got a great spark between them." So much so that she reckons, "They're probably really good in bed together. Simon [Gregson, who plays Steve] always says he reckons Becky is adventurous in the bedroom."
Steve and Becky's on-screen chemistry is a bit disturbing for Katherine's partner, Oliver Williams. "We'll be at home watching it and he'll get annoyed because I'll say 'Simon is so funny!'" Katherine says.

Becky's a great character, and has become hugely popular, Katherine is excellent, looking forward to this storyline, Steve and Becky are meant to be together, everyone can see it, and they will get together.
I think that all three of them should stay single. None of them are yet ready for a serious relationship although they might think they are. They are all in my opinion only suitable for flings or 1 night stands. Both Steve and Jason have got bored very quickly when tied down. As for Becky she needs a younger version of Les Battersby, she is a bit of a rough type and a rough sort would suit her best.
Spot on Mags, Steve definately needs some single time. A younger version of Les would fit Becky to a tee. Jason is too nice for her and Steve is too shop worn.
