Various news sources are mentioning the new four-legged Corrie cast member, but I was especially intrigued by this one from China Daily (who got it from The Sun). Isn't there something wonderful about Simon Barlow's rabbit being newsworthy in China?
The new rabbit is called Leanne - possibly because she's a replacement for the old Leanne when she goes off on whatever excuse they give her for Jane Danson to take her maternity leave. And she's a big hit on the Corrie set. "We've never known any other cast member cause such a stir on their first day's filming. Everyone wanted a cuddle," said the Sun's Corrie mole.
Showbusiness can be a cruel world - it seems only yesterday that Ozzie the dog was the cuddliest cast member.

Hum! wonder what welcome Ozzie or Schmickeal (sp?) would have for 4 leg Leanne. One bit and she is gone.
