David Platt gets mad again as Tina falls for Jason

04_03_david-tina.jpgNext week's big story in Coronation Street is the court case, in which everything hinges on whether Tina McIntyre is prepared to lie for David in order to put Gary Windass behind bars. And increasingly it's looking like she's not going to do it.

Indeed the Sun says as much this morning, and says that David and Tina will split as a result. She'll then end up in the arms of Jason Grimshaw, who, let us not forget, is still technically David's brother-in-law. Ouch - that's got to hurt, and we know young David is on a knife-edge at the best of times.

In a sinister echo of the time David was pointing his gun finger at Gail from the factory roof, he apparently tells Darryl, "I felt like machine gunning everyone. I could have happily mown them all down, except Tina." The Sun's Corrie mole says, "David is a troubled man and losing his girlfriend to his sister's husband sends him over the edge. He mounts a terrible hate campaign."

What, another one?

Meanwhile, read more about Michelle Keegan's views on the court case plot in an interview over on Digital Spy today.

At least she's not going to fall for Gary.

Good, that'll teach the little twerp!

It might be a lesson to David, Tina and Jason, cant see it lasting, David going mad again will be good to see, looking forward to this storyline.

She's much better suited to Jason in my humble opinion. Oh and Nurse Ganderpoke i actually laughed, i haven't heard the word twerp in quite some time.

I thought she might fall for Gary and reform him through love!

I can see why they are doing the storyline and it fits in with David's problems. The problem is though they are killing the character because it seems there is only one side to him, sooner or later they won't have anything to work with and the character will have to be written out. There is only so much you can do with going over the same storylines again and again and this I'm afraid is all too similar to previous events with Jason and Sarah.

I'm hoping that this will lead to David getting professional help, finally.

Tina and Jason could be a good couple. Jason tends to prefer feisty women, and they'd be absolutely gorgeous together. And I can hear Sarah shrieking from Milan.

Jason and Tina - good couple, Tina on rebound from David - bad, as Christopher said it will probably be a fling rather than a relationship. Agree with Matt too, if a David rampage is recyled again and again, he will end up killing someone (or himself) and have tobe written out.

Crikey Jason is goi to be a busy boy! It was only last week it was reported he is to hve a fling with Julie! Is he becoming the male equivalent to Leanne- the custom fling of the street?

i can't bare to watch
this can't be good
i knew this "Good David Platt" thing was too good to be true

There is talk about David Platt getting beat up by a mystery attacker. I hope this puts an end to the 'Evil David' storlyines. Jack P Shephard is a fantastic actor and He will have to be written out if they dont end him being evil a sits getting tiresome and really really boring now. I Would like him to reform and be a hero, a 'decent' family man (it needs one!) and maybe even becomign a good example for the street!
