It was the first Coronation Street wedding of the year last night, when Molly and Tyrone finally got married. On ITV.com today you can see a "behind the scenes" video of the ceremony being filmed, and Vicky Binns (Molly) reveals that it wasn't as glamorous as it looked!
"I've been in make-up since half six," she admits, adding that at times it felt like she was getting married herself, as everyone was wishing her luck. The dress was beautiful (though she was getting bored of it by day three of filming), but January filming poses practical problems: "I've got two pairs of thermals on underneath my wedding dress, brown legwarmers and a pair of boots," Vicky says. Another problem was the horses. "The horses were real divas," she says. "There was poo up the street, and they kept running off. At one point we had the props boys pulling the carriage instead of the horses!"

Molly looked really pretty, she has lovely big blue eyes, but I thought the dress was a bit low cut for a wedding dress.
Where did rent a crowd come from in the congregation? The church was packed but Tyrone's family (his mother) wasnt there and Auntie Pam was the only one from Molly's. Do they really have that many friends, they never seem to interact with anyone apart from Kirk and Amber.
It was a great corrie wedding, Ty and Mol are made for each other and the next Jack and Vi!I thought it was well scripted and a good laugh too, and emotional with Jack remembering Vi, very touching, somthing you'd see in every day life, well done everyone involved!
Agree, Ena, on Rentacrowd. Usually the venu is filled with Corrie characters, whether or not they would be likely to be invited and a few scattered extras which is fine. This was almost all strangers and only a handful of recognizable faces and i didn't even see one of Ty's closest friends Jason there! What about Fiz? Ex-girlfriend yes but also a mate. Maria was away so that's understandable (also an exgirlfriend but still friends).
Well Molly looked stunning in her dress but the bridesmaid dress' were stunning too and i would love one myself, how can i find out where i can get if from?
i thought that it was the perfect wedding and that
it was so funny when poor little ty fainted and all molly did was standing there screaming.
