Gary Windass to cause more trouble
Gary Windass has been causing all sorts of trouble in the Street. From his family's feud with the Platts to sleeping with Rosie Webster at Christmas, and now stealing from the builders' yard, he hasn't had a quiet time.
Mikey North, who plays him, has been telling DS that he's really enjoyed having such good storylines to come in to. So what's next for his character? Mikey says that Gary and Jason become friendly, and Jason tells him all about David's past. Gary then uses this as ammunition to wind David up. "Gary keeps going on at David until he snaps and lamps him just as Tina comes into view," Mikey says. "Once David throws the first punch, Gary gets stuck in...
and goes to town on him. Gary hopes that he'll get away with it because she's the one that saw David throw the first punch."
Gary's been pursuing Tina quite a bit recently, but Mikey doesn't think that Gary really fancies her. "He fancies himself to be honest," he says. "He thinks he can get anyone with his one-liners. Fancying Tina isn't the main thing for him, though. His focus is to wind David up" On the other hand, he thinks that "deep down he hopes one day she'll fall for him." And he doesn't rule out Gary and Rosie getting together again: "They're quite a match, really."
Mikey lives with Craig Gazey, who plays Graeme Proctor, and he'd like them to have more scenes together, as we find out more about the Windasses' past. "I'm hoping that things might develop along that strand and we might find out how Gary and Graeme know each other," Mikey says. "The scripts have mentioned some names of Gary's estate mates as well as other Windass family members. So I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing a few people from the family's past sailing through."

Another great storyline coming up for the Platta, cant wait, we need more of the action from them, they've gone quite recentley!
