Teresa Morton's last stand

Comments (6)

teresa 27.jpgTeresa Morton is a stubborn woman, and she'll go to extreme lengths to get what she wants. When Jerry wanted her to leave the house a while back, she resorted to poisoning him so she could stay. This is not a woman who responds well to friendly persuasion.

So when the Windass family rent the Morton house and want to move in, Teresa is not going to go gracefully. First she tricks Darryl into leaving the house by sending him out to buy her some cigarettes, and while his back's turned, she locks him out. When the Windasses arrive with all their worldly goods, they find a sitting tenant.

Look out, Windasses - Teresa's got handcuffs, and she isn't afraid to use them.

See what happens on Monday 8 December.

Teresa can put anyone in their place, let's hope we see lots more of her.

Well, actually, for the first few months, the Morton's were portrayed as nightmarish in the amount of noise they made, and as for the Connor's, I'd consider them to be hellish for the amount some of them have featured in storylines the past year or so, good lord.

"Why does every new family have to be "the family from hell"? "

The Connors and the Mortons weren't.

From what I've seen of the Windasses so far in previews, they aren't really the family from hell either - Anna and Eddie have more about them, at least [Sue H].

Oh no... this means the Windasses are gonna be sticking around does it? Why does every new family have to be "the family from hell"? It's really far-fetched to have them just turn up in that house next to the Platts. All sounds like it's going to be a very tedious storyline. Come back Sinbad & Co - all is forgiven...

Teresa is just such an exciting character to watch. Because she will literally do ANYTHING to protect her own interests. Much praise has been given for Karen Henthorne this year for her role and it is totally justified. I cannot wait to see this episode, i shall probably be cheering Teresa on.

I hope when she returns next year that she is incorporated a bit more into the show. She is NEVER seen in the Rovers for instance so i hope she is put about a bit more.

Behind Blanche and Becky, she is probably one of my favourite characters.
