Coronation Street's Rosie Webster has a knack of picking the wrong man. She started off her romantic career well enough, with The Lovely Craig Harris. If only Sally had realised that Craig was the nicest, most considerate and caring boyfriend Rosie would have for many a year she might have looked upon him a little more kindly.
Since Craig left, Rosie has picked nowt but wrong 'uns. Liam Connor and Tony Gordon were mature enough to reject her advances, but John Stape wasn't, and look how that ended up.
Next week we're going to see her making a fool of herself with new neighbour Gary Windass. Ok, so he's closer to her age and I suppose he's not unattractive in a feral sort of way, but once he's enjoyed a bit of hanky panky and half a bottle of her birthday champagne with Miss Rosie, his eyes immediately swivel to the next target, Tina McIntyre. And then, of course, everything kicks off - David's not happy, Rosie's not happy, Kevin and Joe are certainly not happy, and it's just another merry little Christmas at the Platt's.
