This week's fan of the week is Chris Howard, who is 17 and from Mitchelstown, Ireland. The eagle-eyed among you may spot that Chris has been fan of the week before, but wanted another go!
How long have you been watching Coronation Street?
I have beem watching corrie for well over ten years and I regard it as one of my favourite soaps.
Who's your favourite character?
My favourite character has to be Gail, she's been involed in some of the soap's most gripping storylines, and Helen Worth who plays her has given her all to the soap for over 34 years and in my view does't get enough praise for it!'
What's been your Corrie highlight or favourite story?
My favourite storyline has to be the Richard Hillman saga, it was brilliant. I also enjoyed funny storylines with the legend Fred Elliott, and Mike Baldwin's death was outstanding.
What would be your Fantasy Coronation Street storyline?
My Fantasy storyline would firstly to bring back some of the soaps most beloved characters like Hilda Ogden or Mavis Riley or Fred (tricky in the case of the late Fred). Another storyline I would love to see is Eileen leaving the Street! I'm sorry to Eileen fans - no offence, but I just don't like the character, I just don't! It's the one character is soapland I can't relate to, I'm sorry! Sue Cleaver is lovely though.
Have you ever visited the Street set, met any of the cast, or do you own any Corrie memorabilia?
I have a signed photo of Steven Arnold - Ashley's another favourite character of mine. I also have two old Corrie books - 'Coronation Street - the complete saga'
And 'Coronation Street - the war years.'
