Corrieblog can exclusively reveal that, following her dreadful ordeal in John Stape's granny's attic, Rosie Webster is going to take a vow of chastity, enrol in college to get some business qualifications, and take Sally on a shopping trip to get some more modest outfits.
Oh, please. This is Miss Rosie we're talking about. And when Helen Flanagan says that Rosie's ordeal marks a new chapter for her, she's certainly not going to go down the modesty route. "Rosie is a right minx and that side of her is going to come out even more. Honestly, Rosie turns into a right slut!" she says. "Rosie was always feisty but this has made her skin a bit thicker and there will be hell to pay later on."
Oooh. I'm getting a bit of a Tracy Barlow vibe here. Another girl with kind, loving parents going badly off the rails. Quick, someone call Jeremy Kyle.

Turns into a right slut?? I thought she'd become that a long time ago.
I much perfer the first version of change. As for becoming a real slut - she already is and it is not attractive.
I could at least understand why Tracy grew up to be a brat. Her biological father abandoned her and Ken and Deirdre put affairs and squabbles over her.
I don't understand what ever made Rosie into this sociopathic tart. Kevin and Sally may have split up and gotten back together a few times, but they were good parents.
I never liked the psycho version of Tracy. I never thought that much of Kate Ford as an actress and I didn't enjoy seeing a legacy character thoroughly destroyed. This seems to be even worse, as at least Tracy's descent into pure evil had some good dramatic moments. Rosie's kidnapping has only been dramatic in spite of her, not because of her. This character needs a LONG break, and unless Helen Flanagan learns to act, a recast.
I agree with Dilly Daydream and Pearl, she already is a right slut. Once again another stupid storyline, can't the script writers think of anything more original. It seems everybody turns evil as soon as they arrive on Coronation Street. Another Tracy Barlow in the making, how boring is this going to get, I know a lot of people who do not watch Corrie now, I am thinking along the same lines, just press the switch button to the other side.
It would help if she could act.
