Will Steve lie for Becky in court?

Despite Becky apparently having an alibi for the night of her rampage, it looks like DC Hooch isn't going to let it lie. Inside Soap says that Hooch bribes some people in the nightlcub Becky was in to say that she assaulted someone. Katherine Kelly, who plays Becky, says that her character and Hooch have "a mutual hatred of one another. He knows her of old and believes a leopard never changes its spots."

Becky is charged, and she knows that she's probably heading for prison again. So she turns to Steve, and asks him to lie for her in court. Katherine says, "Poor old Steve, he's backed into a corner! She'll be lying awake at night, worrying whether he can come through for her." Being reliant on what another person might do isn't easy for Becky. "She's always been so self-sufficient and now her whole future rests in Steve's hands. She can't handle it."
