You may have already seen the ad on television. Quality Street in Canada is holding a competition and they are giving away three trips to the UK including an exclusive visit to the Coronation Street studios. They're also giving away 120 Corrie trivia DVD games. They launched their campaign at a get together (aka a "ping") in Toronto last month but the contest didn't officially open until today. All the particulars of the contest and how to enter are on their website here. It's only open to Canadian residents. The contest runs from today until December 31.
Click through to read some of the rules.
You can enter online, one entry per person per day but to do that you must have the UPC code of a Quality Street product.
However, the rules on the website say:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY MAIL-IN ENTRY: On a blank piece of paper legibly print or type your Full name (first name, last name), complete address (including postal code), daytime telephone number (including area code), contest name and email address and mail it to the following address: Nestlé Quality Street Promotion 2008, PO Box 172 STN. A, Etobicoke, Ontario M9C 4V2. Limit one (1) no purchase necessary mail-in entry per household per day. All entries must be postmarked no later than Monday December 15, 2008 and received no later than Friday December 19, 2008. All entries received after December 19, 2008 will be ineligible.
So you don't need to purchase but you do have to buy one stamp per mail in entry. Check the rules as well for a complete description of the grand prize, a trip for two to Manchester for 4 nights. It can only take place next August 15 to August 24, 2009 with the tour of the set taking place on the 18th.
120 Coronation Street DVD games will also be given away.
