Coronation Street fan of the week

This week's Coronation Street fan of the week is Veronica, from Australia.

How long have you been watching Coronation Street?
I have been watching Corrie Street since it started. Mum would always say "bedtime at 7.30," but one night she was so wrapped up in this new programme she forgot to send us to bed. And the rest is history (got to sit up later after that!).

Who's your favourite character?
My favourite character is Tyrone (still don't think Molly is good enough for him). Also like Fiz.

What's been your Corrie highlight or favourite story?
I really enjoyed the story line with Maxine where she had the affair with the doctor and found out she was pregnant to him. Also, who can forget the Richard Hillman story?

What would be your Fantasy Coronation Street storyline?
My fantasy story line would be where a lady by the name of Veronica visits the Street to catch up with her old friend Eileen, and Eileen is sick of working in the cab office so Veronica gets the job. Would she have a ball!

Have you ever visited the Street set, met any of the cast, or do you own any Corrie memorabilia?
I haven't met any of the cast or even visited the set, as I live in Oz (originally from Scotland) and just cannot afford to get back there. My hubbie has told me as soon as we can afford a trip we will go there even if it is to look through the gates, as I have heard it has been closed down to the public.
