This week's Coronation Street fan of the week is Lynda Clark-McTaggart, from Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada.
How long have you been watching Coronation Street?
I have been watching since 1983. I had watched it on and off for years but I got really hooked while I was at home pregnant with my first child and now I can't do without my Corrie fix. I tape it on the weekdays and watch it later in the day, and I also tape it on the Sunday omnibus and rewatch it looking for scenes that were missing during the week.
Who's your favourite character?
My favourite character is Tyrone Dobbs, no, Steve MacDonald, no, Sean Tully, no, Jack Duckworth, OK... all of them. But I hate...
the suggestive sex from Carla and Tony - ugh.
What's been your Corrie highlight or favourite story?
My Corrie highlight is any scene with Vera and Jack and Tyrone and Molly, they are great, especially when the burger van caught on fire and they drove it into the lake.
What would be your Fantasy Coronation Street storyline?
My Fantasy Coronation Street storyline would include me in the Rovers ordering a pint from Steve McDonald and he realizes that I am his cousin visiting from Canada! Big party takes place to welcome me. I get a small bit part for a week or so and then I get to return next summer for a bit of the same.
Have you ever visited the Street set, met any of the cast, or do you own any Corrie memorabilia?
I am a member of Canadian Corrie Facebook Fans and Corrieblog and I also have a book about the Street that contains copies of the letters and birth certificates, deeds etc. Who lives in what house etc.
