Alan Halsall is one of my favourite Coronation Street actors. I love the character of Tyrone - he's sweet, gentle, loyal and affectionate, rather like his dog Monica. Alan plays him very honestly - Tyrone always wears his heart on his sleeve, and I've often laughed along with him and he's also one of the actors who can make me cry as well. His grief at Vera's death was completely believable and poignant. He's a "proper" Corrie character.
Alan is celebrating his 26th birthday today, and Corrieblog wishes him all the best, and many more happy years in Weatherfield!
