Is Liam's cousin Tom going to split up Marcus and Sean?

This isn't a spoiler, it's a speculation. We already know that Charlie Condou, who plays Marcus, is leaving Coronation Street soon. We also know his exit storyline will involve a "juicy love triangle" for him, Sean and a mysterious third person.

Over on Digital Spy's soaps forum, people have been speculating that this person could be none other than Liam and Michelle's cousin, Tom Kerrigan.

When it was announced that Philip McGinley would be returning to Coronation Street to play Tom, he was billed as a "new hunk" who would be "a big hit with the ladies," but could he be a hit with the boys as well?

Tom has potential to be a cock, arrogant character and i have a feeling that they could run him as a complete cassonova character for men and women. An openly bisexual character who couldn't care less who he ends up with. This could have real mileage for the show and i would be interested to see Michelle's reaction after the Sonny situation last year. I am delighted Tom's character is now a permanent addition to the show and i think there could be no end to his antics on the Street!"
