Coronation Katu, Ja?

That would be "Coronation Street, Yes?" in Finnish. Why do we care? Well, you know that Corrie is seen in many countries around the world. Probably the biggest numbers of dedicated overseas fans are in New Zealand, Canada and Australia but that's just a guestimate. The newest country to give Corrie a try is Finland! Finland's television network, YLE, has bought over 100 episodes of Coronation Street, along with some other ITV show including Heartbeat and The Royal, to be aired later in the year. There has been a deal between the two in the past and ITV shows have been well received in Finland. Everyone has high expectations that Coronation Street and it's characters will catch on. How could it not!
