Don't try this at home, Corrie fans

Confront RAMS.gifSteve McDonald and Dan Mason have already started to stamp the ground and pace around each other like rams on a mountain top the other day, arguing about breaking into cars. The testosterone is about to be ramped up between the two young turks, according to the Daily Star, when they argue about who knows the fastest route to a particular destination (oh, come on, Steve's a cab driver. No contest!) and they end up deciding to duke it out behind the wheel, so to speak. They decide to race to see who knows best but their respective girlfriends, Leanne and Michelle, have both undertaken to be underhanded and text the lads with directions. Sounds a bit daft to me. If you know the route, you know the route. But I digress. Dan wins the day but Steve is suspicious (no kidding.) But the silliest part of this story is that the powers that be on Coronation Street are anxious that their viewers realize that is is just fiction and is not recommended to try on public streets. "It's very important we don't portray the racing scenes as something people should copy. We won't be showing them breaking any speed limits."

Um, yes. That ought to be deterrent enough, don't you think? We'll see the Weatherfield F1 later this month.

Excellent photo!

That's pretty much going to be the size of it too, going by your spoilers as well as mine! :)

Blimey, after all the hoo ha about the Daily Star and its SHAFTA award, I am surprised you still put so much in store as to what that paper has to say, I mean after all this is supposed to be Corrieblog isn't it?

Good point, Hillman Minx, but quite often the Daily Star gets it right or right-ish, and this is one of those times. [SueH]
