Ex-Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien is expecting a baby. She and her partner Ryan Thomas, who plays Jason Grimshaw, are said to be "bubbling over with excitement," according to the Sun, whose source said, "The baby wasn't planned, but now the news has sunk in they couldn't be happier."
Tina has just bought a big house in Cheshire. She recently said that she and Ryan would never get married, and there have also been rumours that she would gradually return to her role as Sarah Platt-Grimshaw in Corrie as the acting roles she'd hoped for weren't materialising. There's now another explanation for this, as a friend of Tina's has said, "She has already had to turn down a couple of jobs because they wanted her to do action shots and she didn't want to risk hurting the baby. It may not be the best timing in terms of her career, but she loves Ryan and they know they can make this work."
