Tina O'Brien is reportedly still frustrated by the lack of acting jobs since leaving Coronation Street in December. Apart from her appearance in panto with Johnny Briggs at Christmas, we haven't seen anything of her, and she's sounding desperate: "I'd even consider doing 'Celebrity Big Brother' - I really love that show," she says.
And apparently the door of number eight Coronation Street may still be open to her. The rumour is that she has a deal with producers whereby, if her acting career doesn't pick up, she'll make occasional appearances in Corrie before making a "gradual return." Sounds like a marvellous safety net if it's true. What do you think? Would you like to see Sarah Platt (and presumably Bethany) back in the Street?

I hate to say I told her so, but I told her so. I don't particularly want her back on the Street. I was always curious to know when and where she qualified as a hairdresser. There she was being let loose on someone's barnet, yet we never saw or heard of her going to college. Same with Tyrone.

Well quelle surprise that she is not the next Kate Winslit! She is a pretty enough girl but no great shakes as an actress. I wouldnt like the whiney Sarah Lou back either really, or not for some time anyway. I would like her to return with a handsome Italian husband that would set the Street tongue wagging!

I would like to see her back. I can't see her getting anything "meaty" thats for sure. Time for Sarah to come back. My only condition is that the character of Bethany returns as a new actress. One preferably half decent.
Maybe she could come back. If she comes back when she learns about Gail's fall, i have to say she's the smartest Platt, and i think she'll know that david pushed Gail.
I concur with Peter, Tina O'Brien should come back as Sarah but with a new Bethany. Oddly enough Sarah is smart enough to see through David and could have on going rangles with Gail to make her see it.
No don't want to see her back again as I can't stand her. Why should Corrie take her back and us suffer just because she can't find any work. Quite simply she has made her bed so she can lie in it.
If worse comes to worse and she is allowed back then please no more Jason/Sarah. Hopefully he will be seeing Becky.

I know this article is from a few years ago, but I would actually really like Tina to come back as Sarah. I haven't watched Corrie in awhile but she added something to the show and I think her storyline was forgettable...I mean who can have a baby at 13 and not be remembered,besides everything else she went through as a teen (kidnapping,drinking,losing a baby...etc.)
