Andy Whyment pops up on ITV.com today in a video interview, talking about the scenes where Chesney is taken into care.
"The house is just an absolute mess because they haven't been tidying up," he says. "Chesney hasn't been going to school. When Claire comes round, Kirk tells her he does his best but it isn't easy on his own, because Fiz is actually away on holiday at the time. When he gets the letter saying Chesney's been taken into care, he's absolutely devastated. he goes round to see him at the foster parents,' but it's actually Roy who does all the work and all the negotiating to get Chesney back."
Becky (who's helping to clean up the Battersby house with Maria) wants to go in all guns blazing to get him back, but Roy says that's the wrong approach with social services, "as I know only too well."
Roy's intervention is successful, and Andy says, "[Social services] say that when Fiz comes back she can act as a guardian, so Chesney comes back to us, and Fiz is going to start living with us at the Battersby's." Aha! So are Fiz and Kirk going to get back together again? Sadly Andy dashes my hopes... "To be honest I think it does Fiz's head in because she knows Kirk's still in love with her, and I think she sees him more like a brother now than a boyfriend," he says, "But I'm hoping, I've still got my fingers crossed, that somewhere down the line Kirk and Fiz'll get back together again."

Somehow I always knew Fiz would end up moving in with Chesney and Kirk, but I really hope she and Kirk don't get back together, she can do so much better. It'll be like living with two kids for her as it is. Wonder where they're all going to sleep?
I would not like to see a Fiz and Kirkie reunion, they have done that and come to the natural end of the relationship and it would just be a rehash. Fiz told Kirkie she just didnt love him any more. I would like to see both with new partners.

Even though it ended very badly, early on, John Stape brought out a spark in Fiz. She's a bright woman who's never had a chance in life, and needs a bright guy to encourage her potential. Remember way back when she had great lingerie designs? Someone who would appreciate and develop that creativity.
I totally agree with everyone. On the CBC, Fizz has broken up with him and it for the best really. please do not put them back together. Fizz doesn't need a dim bulb like Kirk-kay! has anyone seen anything about her weight loss? I saw a photo and it looks like she has dropped alot of weight!
Get Kirk and Fiz back together. Kirk needs looking after, so does Chesney, and how can Fiz pay the rent on the flat now that Maria has moved out?
