Posh new flats for Coronation Street

This is intriguing. The ITV.com website has a slide show of a new development of flats being built next to the butcher's shop.

The sign on the new building says "Victoria Court - the new exciting development in Weatherfield. 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and penthouses. Flats to rent or buy."

Penthouses? Good grief. I bet Liam has his name down for one of those. Those evil people at ITV are trying to tease us by asking whether new flats mean new people, and when these new people might possibly arrive.

Any ideas? Any suggestions?

    I think Janice's flat will be sold and Janice will have to move and wont be happy (Roger could tamper with the pipes in revenge)

    Looks good and finally the street is extending! But one thing, I hope they get rid of the corner house (Janice's?) It look so shabby and odd next to the new development.

    The two properties between the butchers and the new flats have never been mentioned, nor do we know who lives there.

    I look forward to this new development for the programme.

    That's a nice little character house in betwixt Fred's butchers and the new flats. Who lives there?

    I can't imagine Carla living anywhere else but her brick-lined batcave on the Quays. She should live somewhere with better security, anyway.

    Something to substitute for Weatherfield Quays i guess. Dev will move there and so will Carla i would think. Posh developments like this really are going up all over Salford next to older areas just like this so it's realistic anyway.
