Alan and Lucy are engaged!

The long awaited engagement of Alan Halsall and Lucy-Jo Hudson (Tyrone Dobbs and ex-Katy Harris on Corrie) was scooped over on Christine's Fun Pages yesterday. The photo that links to was taken at Andy Whyment's wedding not long ago. The engagement story will no doubt be appearing in a celebrity magazine near you soon. Everyone has been expecting the engagement and, as we reported, Alan recently saw Lucy-Jo on the set of Wild at Heart wearing wedding gear. Maybe that was the push he needed to propose? (edited to add: It was announced in the Sunday People!) In any case, we here at Corrieblog add our congratulations to the lovely couple!
