That's not news, though, is it? What is news is that the Star reports that she's going to go into labour in the bar and Marcus, Sean's boyfriend, delivers the baby! It's a boy! The paper says it's the first to be delivered in the bar but longtime viewers will remember that the living quarters was the site for the birth of Brad Armstrong, son of Tricia and the nefarious Terry Duckworth. Sean is also present for the birth but Jamie is not, he's out of town making plans for his and Vi's escape from Weatherfield!

Does anyone in Corrie have a normal delivery? We've had people's front rooms, the back of taxis...
Gail had David in hospital, as did Maxine and Judy Mallet with their babies. At least it's not like American soaps where they're all stranged in mountain cabins in the snow or some shack somewhere in a hurricane.
Sue I agree, also soap births seem to take all of 5-10 minutes with not a drop of blood in sight - if only!!!
Please everyone NO MORE BABY TALK. It's so gross and I haven't learned about it yet.I always change channels when theirs a birth!
Birth is a heck of a lot nicer to watch than murder.
