Michelle Keegan's level head

There's been a lot of buzz lately about new Coronation Street actress, Michelle Keegan who plays David Platt's new girlfriend, Tina. In a brief article spied here, she says that in spite of landing a great job at Corrie, she's going to continue acting school and strives to get her qualification papers. She's not taking anything for granted even though learning on the job from other actors is a fantastic way to learn her craft. I think she's showing great wisdom for her young years (she's 20). There are already remarks that she could be the next "Karen McDonald" and you know? I found that I took to her straight away. She's so natural and believable in the part and I think she's one of the best newcomers so far. I think she's going to rock David's world (and probably Gail's too!) and I think that's just what both of them needs! Wouldn't it be nice for Gail to actually *like* one of her children's partners right off the bat for a change?
