Ken Barlow has done a lot of different jobs over his lifetime but now he's going to add short order cook to the list. Roy is heading off to Africa to see Hayley and while he's gone, Ken is going to tie on a pinnie and join Becky behind the counter at Roys Rolls!! Somehow, I just can't picture it but it should be fun. Ken's as straight laced as Roy and Becky usually has Roy befuddled. Maybe Ken won't have as much trouble since he's used to headstrong women, having had to contend with Tracy!! In real life, David Neilson is going to be on stage in a production of Waiting for Godot.

I can't think of a better pairing. These two are going to be hilarious.
The last time they needed help it was Blanche who helped Becky, I hope when Ken starts working we get some interference from Blanche.
This could be good, although I think the writers really wasted the Blanche/Becky pairing. I was expecting comedy gold from Blanche & Becky, but nothing memorable happened
What a versitile guy R-Ken. Ofcourse he can cook, he has fussed over Dierdre's dinners often enough. When she first took her current job he fixed her something special which spoiled because she stayed in the pub with a co-worker. Looking forward to this storyline.
We know Ken can make a cup of tea, now we'll great to see him making bacon butties too. I'm looking forward to seeing this and him working with Becky. Should be some good scenes.
