Monday, January 14 7:30 p.m. ITV1
It’s the morning of Ryan’s (Ben Thompson) 16th birthday and as Michelle (Kym Ryder) continues to dodge Nick’s (Robert Horwell) calls claiming she doesn't want to spoil Ryan's birthday by telling him the truth, she admits to Steve (Simon Gregson) that she feels she's betraying Ryan if she even thinks about Alex. Later that day, when Ryan's leaving school Nick approaches him and offers him a birthday gift. Freaked out, Ryan panics and threatens to call the police, telling Nick he knows he's not allowed near him. Nick reveals to a shocked Ryan that his mum has been lying to him and when Ryan demands that he explain himself, Nick unwillingly tells him he’s his father.
Maria (Samia Smith) gets busy with wedding preparations, and leaves Liam (Rob James-Collier) at the house to compile his guest list for the big day. However, boredom kicks in and he decides to go into work, when Maria sees Carla (Alison King) looking smug as she helps a hobbling Liam (Rob James-Collier), she’s irritated and immediately jumps in and takes over. Meanwhile, Tony (Gray O'Brien) is getting increasingly jealous and when Carla (Alison King) tells him she’s too busy to go to the pub, he tells her he’ll wait until she’s free. Will Maria continue to let Carla wind her up and will Tony put up with his girlfriend showering so much attention on Liam?
Elsewhere, Rosie (Helen Flanagan) is still having a tough time at school and when Sophie (Brooke Vincent) joins in with taunting her sister about her affair, Rosie snaps and a physical fight escalates. Sally (Sally Whittaker) is called into school after returning from visiting Kevin and as she marches the bickering sisters home she’s emotionally exhausted. How will she heal the rift between her daughters without Kevin’s support?
Elsewhere, Paul (Tom Hudson) takes it upon himself to start looking for a new place to live after the Duckworths reveal Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Molly (Vicky Binns) are buying number 9. And Sean (Antony Cotton) hides his upset when Lauren (Lucy Evans) tells him Violet (Jenny Platt) and Jamie (Rupert Hill) have been picking baby names.

Ryan (Ben Thompson) is furious about Nick's (Robert Horwell) claim that he was swapped at birth and as he makes to run home, Nick stuffs a piece of paper with his contact details into his pocket. Back at the Rovers, Ryan’s mates are waiting for him to kick start the party when he bursts in telling Michelle (Kym Ryder) she has to call the police - the mad stalker has told him he's his dad. As he explains what's happened he can tell from her and Steve's (Simon Gregson) reaction that his “stalker” wasn’t lying.
Michelle takes a bewildered Ryan into the back and reveals that there's a chance Nick's story is true but it doesn't change anything between them and she was just waiting for the right time to tell him. Unable to cope with the shocking news that Michelle might not be his mum, Ryan walks out of the pub leaving Michelle’s devastated. Arriving at Nick’s house where Alex is enjoying his own birthday, Ryan is stunned when he comes face to face with Alex and recognisees his likeness to his late dad. After giving him some space to get over the shock, Michelle reassures Ryan that he’s her son and he always will be and biology isn’t going to change that. However, will carrying on as normal be easier said than done?
Tony (Gray O'Brien) is impatient as he waits for Carla (Alison King) to finish work so they can go for lunch and angrily queries why she was so happy to drop everything to take Liam (Rob James-Collier) over the road. Carla mocks him for being jealous but Tony’s not happy and storms over to the pub. Meanwhile, Maria (Samia Smith) arrives home and her fury over Carla is forgotten when Liam enthuses over all the wedding plans. Explaining she was worried he felt she was rushing him into marriage by bringing the wedding forward, Maria’s pleased when he protests that he loves her and wants them to be husband and wife asap. Maria's worries are assuaged for the time being, but will she go through with the wedding with these niggling doubts over his commitment?
Tyrone (Alan Halsall) is stunned when Molly (Vicky Binns) tells him that because of their financial situation with the new house she thinks they should keep Paul (Tom Hudson) on as a lodger. Paul’s taken aback by their offer and admits it would be great if they could sort things out. Will this be a fresh start for the quarrelling lads?
Elsewhere, Jamie (Rupert Hill) and Violet (Jenny Platt) are frustrated when Sean (Antony Cotton) gatecrashes their chat about baby names.

Wednesday 16 January 7.30pmRyan (Ben Thompson) is furious when he discovers everyone except him knew about Nick and storms out once again leaving Michelle (Kym Ryder) in turmoil. Later when Alex’s mum, Wendy (Jane Slavin) walks into the Rovers, Michelle’s angry until Wendy reveals she had no idea Nick was trying to find Ryan, they’ve separated over it and she understands why Michelle’s so upset. She admits that she’s been burying her own head in the sand and never wanted to open this can of worms and makes it clear she doesn't want Alex to find out . However, when Ryan doesn’t come home Michelle panics - he was such an emotional wreck when he left and he's not answering his phone. As the weight of the situation sinks in, Liam (Rob James-Collier) calls the police while terrified Michelle breaks down. Will Ryan turn up?
As Jack (William Tarmey) and Vera (Elizabeth Dawn) clear out the last of their belongings ready for the move to Blackpool, the reality that they are leaving sinks in. When Vera tells Molly (Vicky Binns) and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) that she's leaving them all her furniture, Tyrone's delighted while Molly's gutted as her hopes of a revamp are dashed. Vera questions whether they’re sure they’re making the right decision and Jack admits he’s going to miss the street but it’s changed a lot over the years. As they make plans to go to Blackpool tomorrow to measure up the new house, they announce to Molly, Tyrone and Paul (Tom Hudson) that they're leaving the street in six weeks. What will Coronation Street be like without Jack and Vera?
Feeling threatened by Carla (Alison King), Maria (Samia Smith) tries to persuade Liam (Rob James-Collier) not to go into work, telling him he needs to rest and she’ll bring him any paper work he needs. However, when Maria arrives back, she’s horrified to find Carla in her house. Liam tells her that Carla came to speak about Ryan and they’re going to work from home together and Carla’s smug as she succeeds in making Maria feel sidelined. Who will win the battle for Liam?
Elsewhere, the factory girls are surprised that Vicky (Wanda Opalinska) is having a party to sell underwear and Janice (Vicky Entwistle) offers her flat as the venue.
Friday 18 January 7.30pm
This tear jerking episode will see the death of the legendary Vera Duckworth. There won't be a dry eye in the house as we witness Vera's final hour on the Street.We (Granada) have decided not to disclose the exact details of theses scenes so as not to spoil the moment for the viewers.
Michelle (Kym Ryder) has been up all night frantic with worry about Ryan (Ben Thompson) who’s still missing and, after speaking to the police again, she decides to go out and look for him herself. Where is Ryan and will he want to come home?
Maria (Samia Smith) is struggling to hide her distrust of Carla (Alison King) from Liam (Rob James-Collier) and jealously questions why he has to spend so much time with her - they're not even family anymore. Liam assures her that she has nothing to worry about but when Carla books a double hotel room for herself and Liam for a business trip next week, it's clear that things are only going to get worse. Will Liam succumb to Carla's charm while they're away?
Meanwhile, David (Jack P Shepherd) introduces his new girlfriend Tina (Michelle Keegan) to Audrey (Sue Nicholls). While Gail (Helen Worth) hopes she might be a calming influence, David seems to be finding more and more in common with her as they swap stories of nightmare step dads and David reveals he drove his car into the canal.
Elsewhere, the factory girls get ready for Vicki's (Wanda Opalinska) knicker party.
Friday 18 January 8.30pmThere’s still no sign of Ryan (Ben Thompson) and after visiting his friends, Steve (Simon Gregson) and Michelle (Kym Ryder) pay Nick (Robert Horwell) a visit and Michelle fights to hide her anger as she blames him for this whole mess. Steve reassures his hysterical girlfriend that Ryan’s will come home and although Michelle desperately wants to believe him, she can't help but prepare for the worst.
David (Jack P Shepherd) and Tina (Michelle Keegan) are seriously loved up and when Gail (Helen Worth) walks in on them kissing on the way up to David's bedroom, she's amused and slightly embarrassed but pleased that David seems to be acting like a normal teenager.
Elsewhere, Maria (Samia Smith) is seething when Liam (Rob James-Collier) tells her he won’t be able to make her appointment to view wedding venues next week as he has a business meeting with Carla (Alison King) and will be away overnight.
