Liz and Vernon's wedding attire

Doing a search for "Coronation Street" over at Rex Features turns up these (and other) paparazzi shots of Bev Callard and Ian Reddington filming their upcoming wedding scenes. Looks like it's going to be a white wedding with Vernon in semi-western style and Liz looking funky in her topper and white pant-suit (not a short skirt for a change but she's still got the plunging neckline). There are three pages of photos including a couple of photos that show blood on Vernon's white jacket, allegedly from an encounter with Liz's ex, Jim. Judging from the other cast photos there will be quite a good turnout for the nuptials but there doesn't seem to be any evidence of Liz's other son, Andy.

the flowers actually have a little bit of beige fur or feathery stuff around them, too! Got that from the photo in the Sun

I saw a picture of Liz in her wedding outfit and she is carrying bottled water - classy or what???
If you look closely at her pic here - you can see it.

From those photos it looks like a right chilly day for filming outside. I guess the actors stay bundled up in their warm coats til the mimute the scene has to be shot. We saw a couple of scenes in yesterday epi (Canada timeline) where the wind was just whipping Gail, Sarah and Eileen's hair around on the street. Location shoting must be a real challenge at times.

It suddenly occurs to me that Liz's outfit might be designed to match her hair - white on top, dark underneath.
