Kym Ryder loses the plot

In an interview with the Sunday Mirror today, Kym Ryder lets slip some information about her upcoming "explosive" plot on Coronation Street. That would be the plot around the hospital baby switch which means that Michelle may have raised the wrong baby. The Mirror says that Ryan turns out to be the child of another couple though this isn't a quote from Kym herself but Kym does say "As a parent, it's just the most devastating thing that could happen to you" so it does seem like that may be the outcome. It will be a storyline full of tears and heartbreak. Kym also talks about behing bullied in school and pulling her life together after her band Hear'Say broke up. She's one of the media darlings from Corrie these days, along with Antony Cotton, winning awards and showing up on many of the red carpets.

I like Michelle but I am the only one that thinks she's had too many stories this year? Just like the rest of the Connors really. Maybe this will lead to Ryan leaving and we get a child actor that can do just that act!

Sorry but Ryan and Liam to an extent are dreadful. Love Carla and Michelle is good when she isn't moaning all the time!

Agree - Ryan has only one expression - blank and slightly frowning. Michelle is either sulking or pouting, over-made up black eyes staring. She's had no good storylines because she cannot act - bring back Karen - a brill actress, feisty, strong, a real Corrie woman. Liam speaks as if he's got loose false teeth. Get rid of them and also the Mortons, a waste of space, and boring.

I for one like the Connors, a big improvement on the Baldwins. They have good repore between themselves, Liam is either egging Paul or Carla or Carla is giving all the others a hard time. Ryan is stiff but so were a lot of young actors when they first started. Steve in particular was wooden but developed just fine. Will be sorry to see Paul leave as the character is very likeable.

I like them, well i don't like Carla but i'm not supposed to like her. I think they work well as siblings with the others putting up with Carla. The youngster that plays Ryan really hasn't been given much to do so is kind of pointless at the moment.

I really like the Connors ("like" is putting it mildly as far as Liam is concerned), with the possible exception of Ryan who is a bit wooden. Maybe he'll blossom when he's got more to do in this new storyline.

I think Michelle is a brill actress but corrie is dragging the storyline out...
She's always moaning and it's gone on for ages!
