Steve throws a party for Liz's 50th birthday at t'Rovers, but it's a bit of a disappointment for her because not many people come, and Vernon didn't even organise it. But he redeems himself when he tells her he's taking her away to Paris. Michelle and Steve are thrilled for her - or rather, for themselves, as they get the house to themselves for a while!
Rosie is still flirting with Mr Stape, and Sally is still acting all love-struck around him. In fact, Kevin is getting fed up with his wife's apparent devotion to the pervy pedagogue. If only he knew!
And Slimy Paul tells Leanne that he kissed her because he really likes her, not because she has a reputation for loose moral fibre. That's alright then - or it would be, if we could trust a word Slimy Paul says.
