Former Coronation Street star Kate Ford walked down the aisle yesterday in a ceremony in Thorntonin-Lonsdale in North Yorkshire. Kate and new husband, Jon Connerty, got married surrounded by about 200 friends and family including a few of her former castmates. As you can see, Kate's dress is strapless with tiers of fabric and she's wearing an understated headpiece and veil. Very pretty! Seems that catching the bouquet at Samia Smith's wedding last year did the trick! Join us here at Corrieblog wishing Kate and Jon all the best! Congratulations!

From over here, "across the pond."
Wherever life takes you, whatever's ahead
Don't hit your husband upon the head!
Unlike Tracy, I'm sure you're kind and nice
And tho' you might want to, take my advice -
Be he a saint or be he a sinner,
Whenever you're mad, just burn his dinner!!
Sorry folks, I just had to do that.
*pats Brenda on the back* Well done, that's brilliant!
Lovely, Brenda!!!
Congratulations! And well done for not selling your story to Hello! or OK magazine as well!
Nice poem, Brenda. And after just watching the Charlie episode maybe Tracyluv should have taken your advice. Best of luck to her in her new role as a wife.
Congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy marriage. May your life never imitate your art.
By way of example, a marriage in Thailand must be registered with the civil registrar, the Amphur. A religious ceremony alone does not create a valid marriage in Thailand. Thus, although a religious ceremony may be sufficient to register a marriage in certain states in the United States.
